Being heavily in debt can negatively affect your credit score and strain your finances. It can also be a source of stress and anxiety, especially if you have past due bills that are causing you to feel overwhelmed.
If you feel like you’re stuck in a downward spiral of debt, it might be time for some soul-searching. What is the source of your problem? Why do you continue to hold onto those debts? What are you doing right now that could help you out?
If you want to get rid of soul debt then you must first become aware of it. In order for you to be released, you must also accept your own shortcomings and guilt from the past, just like how you forgive others who have hurt you in the past.
Do you know you?
Tony Rooke says “Have you ever heard of something called Soul Debt?”
Your soul debt is the negative effect of your unresolved issues. It’s the feeling of being unfulfilled as if you are not making a difference in this world. It is what keeps you stuck in the same place, feeling miserable and unable to move forward.
The more issues you have left over from your past, the higher this number can get. Negative emotions can raise your blood pressure, strain relationships, and make you prone to illness.
On the contrary, soul debt is the sum of all the debts you have accrued in your lifetime. It is represented by the number of negative emotions you have experienced in your life, and how many people you have harmed.
Negative emotions are an indication of how much you are not loving yourself, and how many people you are letting down. When someone hurts you, it is a sign that they need love and compassion but don’t deserve it because they are still carrying emotional baggage from their past relationships.
Negative effects of unsettled debts.
When you are not in harmony with yourself, it shows in your relationships with others. You become agitated and confused, frustrated and angry, harbor bitterness and unforgiveness, not knowing what to do with these feelings, so they manifest as illness or pain in your bodies or on a deeper level in the form of intense depression and anxiety. Anger, guilt, fear, and disappointment can lead to a variety of issues, such as insomnia, heart problems, allergies, migraines, or even cancer.
The more issues you have left over from your past, the higher this number can get. By releasing your negative feelings, you can improve your health and well-being.
Some other negative effect is that it keeps you separated from God, generates conflict and violence, prevents you from healing, and ultimately makes you miserable.
The way we relate to events or situations has more of an impact on our lives than the events or situations themselves.
For example: Let’s say Dele threw a party and invited everyone except Paul. Everyone that came to the party had a good time. That night Paul is angry and bitter but he doesn’t do anything about it. Instead, Paul carries those emotions to work and finds others that have slighted him and commence to talk and begins to express negative actions.
These negative acts of the soul have affected him both mentally and physically.
“When we are in agreement with the things that hurt us, we energize them”.
Settle Your Soul Debt.
Will detaching yourself from the source where your soul debt has come from solving your problem?
Nope! You have to WANT to change and find ways to release it.
How would you react if you learned that someone you put all your hope in has failed in delivering the promises to you? How would you feel when a very close person turns his/her back on you, said hurtful words, and made fun of you for believing in their lies?
Most of us have been hurt by loved ones and friends, we’ve never forgiven them.
So many are emotionally attached to the wrongs they endured. Many more are emotionally attached to the ones whose wrongs they endured.
This is why it’s so important to take care of your soul balance by releasing old emotional baggage from your past. This can help you free yourself from negative emotions and increase your happiness levels!
Forgiveness is the best solution for your health. You are not willing to let them go yet you claim to be a forgiving person.
If you are willing to forgive everyone why do you still hold on to these negative emotions?
Don’t push aside the joy of forgiving yourself; to forgive others is a process to heal your heart and soul. Forgive yourself first and take the first step toward God; others have their own problems, and you have your own life to live. Be thankful that you are still alive; experience all the good and bad things in life. Do not overlook them as lesser listings because unforgiveness is the root cause of most diseases in the body, it blocks God`s healing power. Unforgiveness leads to depression and stress attacks and starves the soul and the spirit. Hatred spreads sickness, poverty, and depression, so avoid it. Know that forgiving others is necessary for your own well-being.
Death and destruction are not the only dangers of dysfunctional soul life. It can also make you miserable and keeps you from experiencing the fullness of life.
It is time for you to reap what you have sowed. The only way to get rid of a soul debt is by paying it off. Release these burdens and start anew. Avoid drama and negative people. Stop hurting yourself and your loved ones over and over again by harboring bitterness towards them. It is a waste of your precious energy that can be used for some other positive things.
If you have a soul debt against you, it’s time to take steps to settle it now.
“Then came Peter to him, and said, Lord, how oft shall my brother sin against me, and I forgive him? till seven times? Jesus saith unto him, I say not unto thee, Until seven times: but, Until seventy times seven. Matthew 18:21-22.” (KJV)
